Even b4 the release i was keeping up to date with all rumors and leaks, and things looked promising. it was just the price that was gunna be the decider. And thankfully it landed slap bang in the middle of all predictions including my own.

Im deffinatly getting a OC'd 780..probably a Gigabyte , Asus, or EVGA.. which ever gets the better reviews and benches.

If the Gigabyte Windforce one reviewed here is anything to go by,, then wow. Titan performance, somtimes more so ..for £200 less.

Im gunna give it 2 weeks or so for the OC'd ones to release, for prices to stabilize, and for reviews to come out. Then im pulling the trigger...just gotta keep myself from buying one to soon lol.
Gunna be such a massive upgrade over my current Gigabyte 1gb 560ti (384 core) SOC edition GPU.

The are slightly more expensive than place like scan . 740 Euros for the ref version. For me stepping up from the 670FTW would mean a cost of about £330

id def. wait for one of the board partners to come out with their versions...

we didnt see it with Titan because Nvidia said no to the custom pcbs/coolers....

but specifically because of gpu boost 2's temp based clocking,

a card with either MSI's or Asus' proprietary power reg/delivery AND custom cooling, could be a monster lurking in the shadows ....

exciting times my friends ....

€300 extra per card?! I don't really think that's worth it.
For that price you could almost get 2 extra for Quad-SLI!
I'd say go the same way as B-Negative and then just get tri-sli.
EDIT: 1500th post!!! :D

lol congrats on the 1500 posts :D

I would tri sli but im not a fan of it and the only blocks i like are the hydro copper. I wouldn't loose any money from the 670's plus sold the games that came with them for a good fair amount (£90 )

^^ Yeah, I understand.
If you wouldn't lose any money, then go for it. :)
And thanks :D Took me more than a year to get this far

haha i know the feeling im going from a asus 560 ti 2gb,

Only thing that made me think is TTL saying how all the range will be this much of an increase over the previous gen. How is a bios flash and an OC going to change a 680 that much?

Way overpriced. NVIDIA are kidding themselves thinking they are way better than they actually are with these prices.

I have an NVIDIA GPU in every computer I own right now. Laptop, Desktop and Server. But I can't wait for AMD to release their next generation and take some of the shine off these 780's and Titans because NVIDIA has got way up themselves in my opinion.

My thoughts exactly.

I don't understand why people would pay over the odds for these cards when you can save between £150 - £250+ by overclocking a 680 or a 7970 ghz edition to get near enough the same performance.

Each to their own though.

Ulijin is "Angry", "epeen", "not sensible", "doesn't give a wank about money" times 2...

I almost feel a little insulted ;-)

But anyway great review as always Tom!

a TTL Fanboi...

hey guys in this video TTL mentioned the AMD NDA, and it was not graphics. Could it be new fx cpus? because i need an upgrade
