Spotted this, Think I will hold off getting the 780 unless the 785 isn't real.

Hmmm. I doubt there will be a 785, given the differences between the 780 and the Titan. The 785 would have to be on par with a Titan in terms of performance, so I don't think it's likely Nvidia will release a 785.
Very true but you never know, Might be another halfway point ?
I wonder if a 770 would happen. We've already got the 680 that's between the 780 and 670 price points. The 680 is only marginally faster than a 670 despite costing $70 more so there's really no room for it to fit between the 670 and 680 that I can think of.
The 770 will be a tweaked 680, using an updated GK104 die. There have been numerous online reports, and it is expected late next week.
I wouldn't worry about it at all. You've got the baddest video card around and enough muscle to shred anything at 2560x1600. I wouldn't have any problem at all buying one.
GeForce GTX 785 is an upcoming GPU that was supposed to be based on the Maxwell architecture but the latest rumours indicate it will still be based on the Kepler architecture.
The latest data indicates it might be based on a energy efficient version of the Kepler GK110 Core (used on TITAN) which could offer more overclocking possibilities and extra Turbo Boost while remaining within the same power envelope.
On the other hand, it might utilize all of Keplers SMXs and offer 2880 SPUs.
In both cases, it's a potential GeForce GTX TITAN successor.
