OK.
So once upon a time in a country far far away, there was a humble guy (lets call him K for the sake of anomnimity

) who was running a humble little buisness. Now K accepts a lot of client orders whether they be cutsom PCs, networks etc etc.
K's unfortunate luck begins at the launch of the 970. Many clients were very unhappy with K, especially the smaller clients and the ones who were ordering for their kids. Now the clients thought that K was responsible for the products that he sold, evedently so did K. So K recalled all the orders that received complaints along with a notice to each and evey client that ordered a system recently. K was very sad/unhappy with the loss he was getting, however it was better to lead an honest and repuitable buisness instead of creating a fuss that could eventually cause the buisness to fail.
K ended up having to send the cards back for a refund, the distributor originally wanted to charge a 25% restocking fee, however managed to get them back for 15%
Now here comes K's worst part. There were quite a few orders for systems with Titan X cards due to K having a few PCs with said card running when they came to meet and discuss their needs. Even though K advised against it, many ordered it anyways cause they had the cash to burn for their kids.
After about a month later, K found his email flooded with complaints. Lo and behold, not only were they unhappy about the temps and the noise, almost of the cards had overheated due to faulty fans or poor cooler placement etc. Now K was really regreting not opening the cards up to inspect prior to dispatch as he usally does with EVGA or second hand cards, however due to the warranty void if remove stickers K was reluctant. Clearly Ks 12 hour test before dispatch needed some thought, but what could he do customers dont really like waiting. In the end K change the testing period to future orders to 24hours with the option for only a quick basic test. The worst part was that some of the warranty void if removed stickers fell off. Who in the lovely audience would like to guess what happened?
YES the manufacturers didnt want to honor the warranty even though the card obviously wasnt tampered with and only died from Natural causes. K decided to contact nVidia only to get a bot like CS rep, so was their manager etc. No one wanted to take responsibility. Then K saw a faint ray of hope one lunch, it was an email from the distributor in regards to the warranty telling me that they had accepted the warranty claim! K thought YES relief. HELL NO they told K that K neeeded to ship them back to the manufacturers for testing and approval before they would do anything. This time K was liable for all the shipping. K thought well ok, not like the cards died due to tampering. About 2 months or so later K got word, the warranty application was approved, HOWEVER it was for the original ones K sent in that still had the stickers. Not for the ones that K just sent in. Slap right in the face. K was really considering taking this further, however decided it was taking more time than it was worth as most of his income wasnt from Custom PCs etc anyways. It was also taking a toll on his mood etc too. Enough was enough.
Unfortunately due to this incident K lost about a months worth of income due to shipping, time wasted going back and forth with distributors, keeping the clients happy, organizing the returns and replacements, refunding out of pocket, as well as a lot of other stuff.

If I typed out the entire story it would take people hours to finish and me an extra few hours to type. Only highlighted the 2 major incidents in this part.
