Nvidia are set to launch the next version of the Shield with it's small yet powerful Tegra K1 SOC chip.

The shield will come packed with an ARM based CPU and Nvidias new Tegra K1 SOC which features 192 CUDA cores which we recently saw in action on the Unreal Engine 4 demo here -

As the previous shield you will be able to hook it up to your living room TV for something called "Console Mode" which will enable more of a laid back experience on the couch especially considering an add-on controller will be launching side by side.

It will also come with a touch screen measuring in at 5 inches like it's predecessor, Although no specs about storage were given.

There is no exact pricing or release date of the shield but expect prices to mirror the previous version, Lets just hope this one can make more of an impression.
