NVIDIA to launch its GeForce GTX 880 next month, at under $500

Indeed, During the ATI days they were a true power house because all they did was GPU's, Now it just seems like there's no soul in ATI/AMD anymore and all they want is to have their fingers in as many pies as possible :(

I'd like to upgrade around January to a single card solution that is at least 15% faster than the 780 Ti with increased VRAM.

So I hope something comes out around then :)

AMD are spread out far too thinly in my opinion, They have taken on way too much, CPU's, GPU's, APU's, SSD's, Memory, Freesync.

It's too much, That's why intel and Nvidia will always be ahead because they can concentrate their efforts on 1 product type at a time were as AMD has a gazillion things going on at once.

Exacally, AMD is building all this non-sense when they need to get GPU'S nailed in the HEAD before they even consider expanding to mantle or freesync let alone CPU's Ram and the rest of its BS.

Thats why Nvidia is winning they have GPU nailed and have a set scheduled for release so now they can expand to GSYNC and the shield tablet. Get you head in the game AMD or your going to lose market attraction.

I'm not to sure about that, nVidia have quite a few projects on the go, what with Shield, Tegra Tablets, G-Sync Monitors and GPUs.

oh and by the way, intel have quite a few going on as well, SSD's, motherboards etc

While AMD may be spreading their resources rather thin, they are doing this to reduce risk in regards to their profits, well they would increase their profits too if they have an increase consumer target. With additional consumers and profits, they would have a larger margin for error per say for each of their product lines and have more funds to allocate than they originally did, then they can increase their R&D. Similar to where you wouldnt normally place a large sum in a single stock when you know that you are not 100% sure that the stock will do well.

Then again I think AMD is being run and managed mostly by morons, felt like smashing my monitor after watching AMD at computex.

True but you have to remember Intel only entered the SSD, PCI-E SSD and iGPU market when it was market leader in the CPU area so they had room to breath and spread out and they have succeeded.
Can't really count motherboard chipsets because without the motherboard chipset i.e Z77/Z87/Z97 etc... you wouldn't be able to use your CPU ^_^

8/10 would bang

Could you say that again in English please ? :p

its a saying how many times out of ten you would fuck it. the card looks good idk if its worth the money now
