The text about no reason to go beyond your monitor refresh rate is misleading. Increasing frame rate beyond the refresh rate decreases overall input latency. This is why people still push for the highest possible FPS on CS on low resolution monitors.

Does MFG not improve latency beyond native refresh rate? If not that just proves fake frames do nothing besides make it appear smooth. But we've had that tech before (Triple buffering). Just not using AI.

Input latency isn't a big deal unless you're into competitive games. If you are, you have options but it's gonna cost you. You need either a high refresh rate OLED, or one of those G-sync Pulsar monitors. And you still need a GPU capable of running games at extremely high framerates. I guess you could go with a CRT, but let's not kid ourselves. The whole CRT craze was overhyped by a couple of dweebs.

May not be important to you, but you are agreeing it does improve. My point in saying it was misleading is true. As for your comment, most people playing these competitive games(ex CSGO) don't need ultra high end GPUs. 1080p with a decently moderate card will net you very high frame rates. Even if you only have a 120hz refresh rate you can still improve latency.

While all this is true, We can't forget the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, And on top of that, He just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, And a motec exhaust system.
