Nvidia 670 Graphics Card Rather Hot

hey guys,

i have a 670 with the stock fan on it, it never used to get as hot as 95 degrees even in the weather that we have had, but now all of a sudden its getting hotter and hotter by the day?

anyone have any suggestions ?

This. Maybe set up a fan curve in afterburner aswell. Also what case do you have and what fan setup? That might help

I recently did my HD 4870 which was creeping up, removed the Custom Fan and got a flat knife wrapped with a baby wipe (of all things) and removed all the dirt from between the fins....

i have a Zalman Z9, for some reason the stock fan just doesnt seem to be performing as it normally does, its normally very quiet and does a great job, but its not getting loud, so you think it could just do with a clean guys ?

I'd clean you computer either way. Your GPU might be running hotter because your front intake fan is dying and the GPU doesn't get any fresh air. You can always buy a new fan, they are not too expensive.
