Nvidia 3D vision

so guys i have a question about 3d vision. my monitor is only 60 hrz, i know it will not work on that, however i do have my pc connected to my 120 hrz LCD tv through HDMI. im just wondering if i would be able to use the 3D on my TV? If not can you please tell me why?

If you have the nvidia 3d vision glasses and IR reciever and a 3d vision capable gpu, I don't see why it shouldn't work.

well TVs aren't *really* 120Hz most of the time afaik
they use weird backlight trickery to make it look smoother
guess you could try it, but i'm not sure if it'll work

if it's true 120hz it should work.

Is there a reason you're asking instead of just trying it?
