Nventiv Mach Machines and CPU Temps...

Well guys i am hopeing u could all post your CPU temps as im just wondering if mine are right or not..

I used a program called MotherBoard Moniter5 which can be downloaded here:

http://mbm.livewiredev.com/download.html

I founding the right sensor for my mobo from this list here:

http://mbm.livewiredev.com/mobolist.html

Here are my reults:

CPU @ 2500Mhz

Idle:

Evaporator : -59C

CPU : -33C

Load:

Evaporator : -55C

CPU : -23C

BTW i had it set to Turbo mode.

I hope them readings seem right

CPU @ 3.9Ghz on turbo

IDLE:

Evap: 55+

CPU: 40+ (off the scale)

LOAD:

EVAP: 45+

CPU: 25+

Seems ure evap is really doing well, what is it? m2, m2ST or m2GT?

and you reading seem fine to me mate

Its an M2GT m8..

yeah i wasnt sure, so i made this post to see if some of you guys here could help me out

gonna say, ure evap temps are really quite good, the reason i suspect ure CPU temps arent quite as excellent (tho they are still very good) is becoz the AMD runs much higher than the avg P4 as it has more voltage going thru it and runs hotter anyway

Animal what are you useing to simulate your "load" situation? If you have done a fair test your temps are excellent, but i suspect that you could cook it up a bit more :)

my clock is as follows

298 fsb 4470 mhz p4 @ 1.75 V

idle - 44

load (2 X prime 95 small fft's) after 20 minutes -9 / -8

thats with a standard machII

i think people should post what mobo their using. since temps are calibrated totally different between manufacturers. lol

my Abit IC7-MAX3

3.0c @ 4.0 with 1.75vcore

after small fft prime95 load is -9c

i've discovered a few CC tweaks to get better temps:)

Where the prommi has a chip-cool controller, the VapoLS has it's own controller that supports few additional functions such as compressor rotational speed and suchlike. Setting the vapo so that everything runs flat out is the only way to get it to perform near the GT etc. The Prommis don't have this option... they're designed for max performance, therefore compressor runs flatout at all times by default.

Animal: your temps are all fine...

Mine:

XP2500+ @ 3Ghz

200x15

2.2v

Evap idle: -50 deg C

Evap load: -44 deg C

Load CPU Socket: 10 deg C

Load CPU Diode: -32 deg C

However, ALL those are inaccurate in real life. The actual evaporating temp is in the -30s... and that's my rig maxxed out. No rig can be colder than the evaporating temp of the refrigerant it contains... both 404 and 507 this is in the region of -45/-46... so not one of the GTs is actually any colder than this... and similar applies to the MkII standard but at a lower temperature... -thirtysomething if I remember rightly (don't have the refrigerant datasheets to hand)

General running at 2.8Ghz

200x14

1.95v

Evap idle: -69 deg C (actual -45 deg C)

Evap load: -55 deg C (actual -39 deg C)

Load CPU Socket: 6 deg C (actual 8 deg C)

Load CPU Diode: -49 deg C (no way to measure)

That's a 507 modded MkII.
