The linux live cd was a great idea, because i didnt think it could do any think my linux partition could do. oh how i was wrong?

In the end i just nicked a hdd from another PC with partition magic on and formatted my space hdd to FAT32 then copied the stuff over (which took quite a few hours)

then I backed it up again on to a IDE hard disk which I nicked from another pc. Then low level formatted the harddrive with the problem using my RAID controller (it was the only way i could think of to format it) and Reinstall windows and I am BACK :D

So there you go, if it happens to you, you know what to do ^^

One other thing memtest did show up some errors with my ram, do you think it would be a good idea to try and RMA them? because ive obviously pushed something to far.

Thanks again.

I think it might be mate...or just try to get it stable....tweak your settings, maybe add in a little more voltage and runs MemTest86+ on tests 5 and 8 a few times :)

Then if still no luck - RMA
