Nooo my earphones have died!

My Creative EP-630s decided to go mono on me on my paper round for no apparent reason and only go stereo once you find that really hard position which is impossible to keep up due to its inconvenient nature :( So yeah its the earphones not the player as the stock (ewwww) work fine...well as fine as stock will go  hurts my ears though.

Anyway I got these for £12 off amazon (now £20 iirc) which must have been a misprint. They were one of those really good in ear ones but the cord was annoying as it carried any sound from movement of the cable into your ear. The cable also "stuck" to anything brushing past it, ripping the buds out of your ear most times (prolly the cause) - Which in ear buds do you recommend for good bass reproduction and wide enough frequency to cater for those ever changing hardcore vibes...amongst others.

Go for some Sennheiser CX 300. Really great earphones and not too dear :)

Agreed. I have recommended these to Hyper as well I used to have some EX71's which I find to have more BASS but most more and don’t last as long, The CX300's are really good and can be found for less than £13 (watch out for fakes)

Im on the same mission atm.

My sony bass earphones wire has broken inside somewhere.

So I am now look for new ones.

Thanks for the suggestions! :D

It is kind of sticky I spose.

If your not into those then get some Sony in-ears. Mine have been great quality and give great sound too

Nice. Make sure you give em a couple of weeks to wear in (like all good speakers). They really sound better after they are loosened up.

The cable is not sticky I have had two pairs of Sony ex71's and on both the wires have become sticky and fallen apart

@ Rastalovich, you should have got the Sharp MD-33s, they're essentially the same phones as the CX300s (different driver but the sound quality's pretty much the same) as they have a 2.5m plug (and a 2.5 - 3.5 adapter) :p

Not the 71s. As mentioned in the thread, the rubber on the cable perishes and falls off. EX90's are the way forward.

Got a pair of both, they're not a huge amount different imo and the CX300's have lasted pretty well for me

LMAO, I put these on first and thought they were crap.

Then I put them on/in properly (ala chewing gum kinda interfers with the experience) and woooaaahh.

Great set of earphones tbh - would suggest NOT wearing them if u need to go out anywhere. U just can`t hear anything else. I was in town, turned about and this woman was talking at me.. I had to take them completely out to find out what she was ranting about >.<

.. maybe that`s good tho ;)
