Nokia Phone saves life, Microsoft cheaps out

A Nokia Lumia 920 saved a man's life. When a wall collapsed, the man covered his head with his smartphone, softening the blow of the debris. Microsoft heard the news and gave the man a brand new entry-level mid-range phone. I won't spoil the rest.

I think they wanted to give him a handset from the latest gen. Unfortunately the L640 is currently still the most powerful phone in the L*40 line-up.

I would personally be happy with recieving the L640XL as a replacement for my own L920 free of charge. It's just not a big enough improvement for me to justify a purchase, though.

Nothing wrong with Windows phone, especially with W10 mobile coming it should be pretty awesome

To be fair, they didn't HAVE to replace his phone, so in a way he should be thankful that he actually got a replacement for is old phone.
