noise comming from PSU fan

hey, i installed my PSU in the case with the fan facing down to the vent and it was okay for about a week but now i have noticed that it seems very noisy i'm pretty sure that it's the PSU fan because i let the computer run while stopping all off the other fans but also it could be vibration coming from the PSU.

any ideas or help would be great!

What PSU are you using? Try turning the PSU round and check if the noise is still there, if not the PSU probably didn't get enough air and therefore the fan had to spin very fast.

ok thanks the noise stops and starts but i'll try turning it around as that seems like a logical explanation

Power supplies don't get very hot at all, so more likely vibration of something.

try pushing the fan with your finger to see if it's loose or sth
