Hi, i'm looking for suggestions on a good pair of headphones that are reasonably priced but have good noise canceling. Currently I have razer carcharias but they don't seem to block out any noise at all.

Thanks for looking!

Firstly what's your budget?
Would you prefer active or passive noise cancelation?
What's it's primary use?

Thanks for the reply.

Budget is probably anything up to £70.
I'd prefer passive but active is also ok if they are really good.
I will be using them at home to block out noises such as tv, people talking, barking dogs e.t.c

Any closed design headphones should do this really.

Just to mention: Headphones don't have a mic - headsets do.
Headphones are pretty much always better, especially for this.

Even something like Sennheiser HD202s will produce better quality audio than a headset, and should block out a lot more noise.
Maybe look at the HD215s too.

Then you could just get a simple £5 mic, and have far better audio quality overall.

I agree with James here, HD215's are actually a good set
