No VGA Output

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on here. Anyway I have a massive problem. I was cleaning my keyboard and accidently "disabled my VGA output" completely... at least that's what it seems I have done. I suppose it's some keyboard combo. The display is connected to my laptop's VGA output (since I have no screen (do not laugh)). I have tried it on another monitor and I have no signal. The screen doesn't work when the PC is booting up, like in the BIOS. I have searched everything and still nothing.

BTW, my laptop is nakered so it doesn't have a cd drive either so restoring through cd isn't viable. I do however have a remote desktop connection so I can log on to my laptop.

Thanks in advanced. I welcome any and I mean ANY solution.

Holding the Windows button and pressing "P" is the shortcut for this.

If this dose not work reset your laptop by holding in the power button till it turns off, You should still see a boot screen while its booting up, If not your issue is probably bigger.

Here is is the screen you will see, well would see if your monitor was on, you will need to Press "P" once to bring it up and then "P" again to swap to the next one. do this a few time until u land on the correct one.

Also It maybe on the HDMI port not the VGA port if you have one.

If this dose not work put a monitor on th PC and restart it, it should come up on one of the screens.

Nope, still nothing. When I remote desktop'd to my laptop I tried what you said but nothing come up. I may have disabled it at some point? I should also point out that when it did get disabled, the screen went an transparent blue then went black. And it doesn't show up during boot either.

How hard were you pressing down lol?

And it being a laptop, I assume there are "Fn" keys (i.e. the "Fn" button next to the Windows key, then you press the relevant Function Key Button to do specific things).

So check the different "Fn+ Fx (Where Fx is any function key e.g. F1), to see if there is any to switch displays or enable VGA input.

So try them, maybe it will enable the VGA to connect to the monitor
