Please help.

Realtek has nothing to do with HDMI out audio.

re install your old drivers.

but.... without the system recognising SPEAKERS in the output options, nothing with sound will work.

"speakers" is a system handler, that handles all sound, even if audio is being outputted by another device.

in the list of audio output options "speakers is missing"

this suggests that a rogue app deleted the *.dll that is needed, or erased a registry entry or two.

Go to Computer Management > Device Manager > Sound, Video and Game Controllers

Right click on the AMD HDMI Driver, choose disable then restart.

never had that happen before. My mobo default uses Realtek and i uninstalled them immediately, and HDMI out works fine for me.

@OP So this happened right after installing new drivers? if this is the case there is almost 100% that it's a driver issue. Otherwise trouble shoot your ins and outs. (I am going to assume you are going from the video card, to the monitor, and to a set a of speakers) if so make sure the input from the monitor is plugged in correctly to the speakers.

Re install the old driver and tell me if that works, if it does we can safely say it's the driver and we have no need to go foreword.

yours looks like this:

it should look like this (mine):

Try this. Right-click the Sound icon in the notification area, and choose Playback Devices.

On the Recording tab of Sound, right-click an empty spot of the window, and put a checkmark next to "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices".

From there, if Speakers shows up, right-click Speakers to enable.

I restore the whole PC. Full of Junk and all I really need on it is games and folding clients. Thanks for the help everyone!

BTW I got sound back!

Thanks again.
