"NO SHUT DOWN" error

well after hassling bwr and phil for a few hours, and fixing the many things id done wrong, ive managed to get the damn thing working, still trying to find a stable speed to run at, seems my CPU is a bit naff, will send it to phil to test, see if he has any luck, on 3.75ghz i was running prime 95 at +15deg C! yet idle was -20-30deg - wots that about? :S thats at 1.8V

You have a contact problem there then mate if that's the case - it's not a big deal it was your first attempt. When you go to refit the cpukit, we'll go through it together with a fine toothed comb to make sure you get some decent contact. I will get you 4ghz stable.

thx phil :D i dont have a problem replacing the CPU if needs be.

Today im running the CPU at 3.825 Ghz (15x255) im not sure if its prime stable or what temp on load it will be, ill remote onto it and check now.
