Hi Guys,

Woke up this morning slightly hazy to find that my trackerball wireless mouse had stopped functioning.

I thought the batterys must have gone so replaced them but still no joy.

I had a spare brand new usb mouse in the cupboard so unwrapped that and plugged it in but this doesnt work either. Have tried rebooting several times but the mouse cursor just sits on the screen but doesnt move :(

Any of u Guys got any idea's how to solve this short of reinstalling windys7?

Is bloody annoying trying to navigate the puter with no rodent :(

Many thanks,

Grab a USB to PS/2 converter and replace the usbport.sys file with one from the windows disc. The USB drivers sound to be modified, you will get this in Windows7 when changing the file. The file needs to be the right one otherwise it throws a wobbly.
