No Man's Sky Fight Trailer - Time for some combat

is there any better versions of this 'trailer' it's terrible quality and has a hiss in the audio.. feels ripped ?

I just dont see the thrill in this one.

Gfx don't look immersive and im sure the exploration feeling will fade even with 18quadrillion planets to se.

It's an interesting claim that of course cannot possibly ever be actually challenged.

I'l still interested to see how they model the thing, or if it's just random all the time, or persistent at all. From the videos I've seen of transitions I'm still not convinced. Open minded.. but not convinced, storing that much 'state'... well... lets just say I don't know if they've thought about it yet lol.

Everyone is so hyped for this game, i really just don't see the appeal. I'd rather play ED tbh, only problem with ED is that not enough people play all the time(or same time) and it's rare to find something other than AI

To be honest the appeals of ED and NMS are exactly the same to me. I like exploring stuff and NMS is probably going to be better in that regard for now, driving a rover on a rock planet and flying past planets gets stale fairly quickly, i could never really get into ED because of that. It's not a realistic game, but i don't really get immersed in any game, if it looks neat and adds to the experience i'm fine with it. Spore wasn't realistic at all either and i still enjoyed the space stage in that game a lot.

It does get stale yes, but imo that's due to the low player count. But I play at late times so that's probably my own fault rather than Elite, but with friends i don't think it would get boring. ED is not a fun solo game in my experience. Unless you are playing in the Arena

Well, with the size of the galaxy you aren't all that likely to run into many people, even within human inhabited space. I don't know what you could do in the game with friends to make it much more exciting.

Its the empty nature of elite that i like, its about making your own adventures and not be to concerned with things, even though it was a really long journey, my visit to the center of the galaxy in ED was totally worth it, so many good screenshots.

People are mega hyped about NMS now, but when they realize it has prettymuch the same depth as elite, just with slightly different settings and things, everyone will jump of the hype train.

I'm currently like 1k lightyears away from civilization and i definitely don't have the stamina to hop from brown dwarf to brown dwarf for weeks till i reach the center.
In NMS you can walk around on the surface of planets and the planets have life on them, i'd call that a lot more depth from an explorer's perspective.

Yeah i suppose so, still, dont be surprised to find that after a while your like, well already seen this before, because its gonna happen, and its what the majority of complaints is for elite.

Yea i'm not going to fool myself, NMS is going to last a couple of weeks at best, that's just the way it is with games where there is no skillcurve. But it's still interesting enough for me to look forward to its release, making a concept like that work deserves some recognition.

Oh yeah, i like the idea, presentation isnt really for me though and the fov seems horribly low, but maybe that gets fixed, otherwise, yeah its a pretty great idea.

ED, Star Citizen, NMS... they all try their best and they will pull us in, in the beginning, but I just cannot see how they can keep us enthralled, short of some seriously good pvp fights.

What would be sweet is to introduce some missions that replicate the communication and camaraderie that GTA Online presents. But then, how do you shift that gaming model over to space exploration

The fov is always low in gameplay trailers (no idea why), i assume that will be changeable in the PC version. If it won't be someone's going to make a widescreen fixer, there's no way i'll play this with a fov lower than 90.
