Welcome to c3d:, Bluestake. We promise not to bark or bite, though we may poke on occasion...

Nice build so far, though I don't see why you went after a top-notch psu and mobo then dropped to an e6400 cpu instead of going with the e6600. But to each their own, and my 2-cents on gpu would be the nVidia 8800GTS 640mb. Don't bother with the expensive super-over-blown-out-of-the-box versions, just a nice stock and then oc (they all do well from what I've seen on the web...).

If you're looking for an HSF, and have a few extra dollars, the thermoelectric coolers by Vigor (Monsoon II) Titan (Amanda) are pretty darn good. My Vigor was outstanding until I hooked it up to my EVGA mobo, think I hosed it. On my AW9D it was nothing short of spectacular, e6600 oc'ed to 3.7GHz stable was well above expectations (ran 3.6 daily). Prices start at about $100.
