next extreme socket from intel

Is there anyone that know when intel releases there next extreme socket? µ

i have heard that there wili be a haswell-e processor is that true?

It's just that i want to built a new system and if it is recommendable to wait until the next extr socket comes out?

Ivy Bridge E at the end of this year is the next Intel Extreme socket. I haven't heard anything about Haswell Extreme, but that will most likely be the next one after Ivy E in about a year, to a year and halfs time from now.

Ivy e won't be anything revolutionary so if you have the money now get sandy e.
