Newbie and stuck :/

Hey people ,

Ive been trying to complete my first ever build today and it hasn't gone as smooth as I thought.

The case is the bitfenix colossus.

I don't know where to plug the Led connectors that are attached to the case and also the 6 fan connectors.

Any help would be much appreciated thanks .

are you talking about the hdd and pwr led for the front panel??? if so those go on the mother board look in your book it'll show ya where. If your referring to the case lights and fans then those will go to ur psu I'm sure somewhere in the documentation it'll show ya or tell ya where.

I'm talking about both actually lol, the manual for the case isn't very detailed at all :/ , so I'm pretty stuck lol, thanks for your rely btw.

You need to look in your motherboard manual for the front panel. Connectors, it will tell you which one goes where etc.......

For the case lights and fans, you should have some fan headers on the motherboard, again have a look in your motherboard manual, or you can plug both the fans and case lights into molex connector that you should have with your psu.

Thanks for all your help guys , issue has been solved and system is up and running

. Are there any recommendations you have , seeing as it's my first build , shall I monitor temp to see if everything is ok etc. And what software can I use to do that ?

Yeah monitor your temps, do some benchmarks or stress tests to make sure your system is stable and won't crash on you. HWmonitor is a good program to use to check temps and voltages (get the free version).

You could also make sure that the the internals of the case are all clean neat. Cables are some of the biggest culprits when it comes to system temperature.
