New z97 mobo

Hi everyone, ive won a i7 4790k cpu and i already own a z87 rig so im plannning to use my new cpu and sell my previous build.
I cant decide which one to get.
Should i go for asus hero7 or msi gaming 9 ac (free headset)

My current z87 mobo is gd65. Should i stick with msi?
My gpus are also msi should i go full asus fanboy and change
My gpus aswell? Rog gpu looks hot.
I have decent amout of budget. Thanks for advice.

If you like the look of ROG stuff its not hard to find photos of rigs with the full ROG shizz. ;P

Yeah what is your current spec list? What are you trying to improve about it and whats your upgrade budget. Sometimes it is nice to start a fresh with all new kit so it feels like a new build and not just a long drawn out series of upgrades but every time you change you lose money. I like ROG and MSI stuff they both just keep getting better.

Indeed, you can just update BIOS and your current mobo is compatible.

I have msi gd65 on my current setup and 4770k, xfire twin frozer 280x, gskill 2133mhz ripjaws. I would buy nvidia card if i didnt have the 20k+ points on rptr.
I never have any asus components before only the monitor.

I was would like to keep my current rig so my sister can use it for photoeditinh and stuff she would be surprise how much faster it is than her mac pc.

The promo on hero vii with the rog front base is nice problem is i have nzxt h440 for my case. And for £199 you can get free steelseries siberia v2 with the gaming 9.
