Recently built my i7 7700k into a Z270-A ASUS Prime motherboard.
Sound was absolutely fine before on my MSI z68. Now there is a very invasive crackle noise. its bearable with music to some extent but anything with voice or general stuff has crackle.
I'm using sennheiser 518's. They are fine on my phone, another computer and tablet. Just the new PC is doing it.
I have some Creative Sound blaster cards kicking about but they don't fit the motherboard.
Sucks having to work around this, a £155 motherboard shouldn't have sound this crap!
Any Ideas?
