New X99 build

So my current system needs a upgrade and I would like some thoughts on this build:

This is my current build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Qq9npb it had a Asus 780ti, but it failed me after 6 months and then got a new one, that lasted me 7 months

The case I will be using is a modded Raijintek Styx and that 1060 is just a stand in for when volta and navi comes out, because when they are out I might go SLI or CF with the top end card.
My current main screen is a BenQ GW2765HT, but will be changed out with a HDR QHD UW when they come out.

Usecase: Playing games ofc, 3D modling, a tiny bit of photoshop.

leave your thoughts about my plans/build and have a nice day :)

Pretty solid build dude, I use my system for precisely the same things. Used to be sli too only with Maxwell 950s, one thing I did notice was the rendering times were unpredictable but it depends on the software. I use blender primarily but 3DSMax could throw up issues too, now pascal on the other hand is phenomenal, id say get the strongest single card you can afford. If you stick with the 1060 option go with the 6gb version, as you're probably already aware rendering eats memory.

Well the 1060 is more of a stand in card, since Pascal is pretty meh IMO, just really hot fixed maxwell with a die shrink. I will have the 1060 until next gen is out and then go top end CF or SLI. I would also only get the 6gb version, 3gb is just too little and the 3gb card also has less cuda cores.

Was gonna ask why the 6850K with one GPU, then saw you plan to CF or SLI later, so it makes sense to get the extra PCIE lanes from day one.
