new to water cooling need help

So some parts I have had for awhile but have never got around to finishing this and the more I read about barbs and fittings and tubing sizes ect the more questions I have. Basically let me start by telling you what I have.

I have a Koolance 350-AC cpu block, and a Aquatubing reservoir g 1/4" (looks like a piston.)

The reservoir is g1/4 fittings it says as well as the koolance cpu block. I see a lot of different pumps have different size fittings it comes with, since I have 1/4 fittings on the cpu block and reservoir I'm assuming I need the same for the radiator and pump correct?

I only plan on cooling the cpu and nothing else. This is what I was planning on getting to finish the set up.

now for barbs if I get 2 1/4" for the rad and 2 1/4" for the pump all I will need is 2 1/4" for the reservoir and 2 1/4" for the cpu block correct (angled if need be)? What barbs would you recommend? These? http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7...rkle_G14_Barb_Fitting_-_12_ID.html?tl=g30c407

As for tubing what do you recommend and size as well? Sorry for such newb questions but I just want to make sure I get everything right the first time.

The 1/4" is just the size of the screwthingy you screw into the different parts of your watercooling system. (don't know the english word

) That will almost àlways be 1/4". (look at detailed info from your parts)

What you need to be looking at are the different sizes of fitting-'openings' (the side that your tubing will go over)... Those can be quite different from each other ^^

You have to make sure the size of your barbs/compression fittings go with your choice of tubing (and/or the other way around)

It's best that the inner diameter (ID) of your tube is the same as the outer diameter (OD) of your fittings.

example: 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD tubing will fit on 1/2" barbs (13mm)
