New System Build. First Build Would like some Advice

Hello Guys,
This is my first build and I'm looking on your views on what I have chosen I already have a 2TB HDD so I'm not gonna list what it is. I also have a case and a 750W PSU

System Spec:
Intel i7 2700k gonna overclock
Gigabyte ATi Radeon HD 7950 Windforce 3X 3072MB
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 M Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Adata Premier Pro SP900 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s
Corsair Hydro H60
Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB (4x4GB ) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound

If you want to overclock I would choose some 1866 memory and a better cpu cooler .. H100, H100i or a costum watercooling loop :)

I was thinking of a H100 but I would like something a bit smaller and I would like to keep it all on air. except the CPU.
 
The H80/H80i is really the lowest you should go in terms of the pre-built loops. Anything less, and a high end air cooler will walk all over it.
If I may, what is your PSU?
 
What about this for an all air cooler

or could you recommend me a good cooler

If its a mostly gaming rig then drop the 2700k and get a 3570k as the hyper threading is useless.

Drop the H60 and get an artic cooling i30 for £30 or go with a better cooler for about the same price as the H60, the i30 loeses out to the H80/H100 on the medium fan preset by only 1-3c on a 4ghzish 1155 chip, is considerably cheaper and is about the same sound level .

16GB ram probably isnt going to be much use if its a primarily gaming machine, i struggle to use even 6gb with Sketchup or photoshop open along side an intensive game, 8gb of vengence 1600 will half the cost there and will serve you just as well.

Doing the above will save £50~ on the cpu £20~ on the cooler and £30~ on the ram so about £100 give or take a little, that can go towards getting you something like a larger SSD or getting you a step up to something like a Asus directCu2 version of the 7970.

I like the idea of changing the CPU and the suggestion on the fan but I will use that 16gb of ram im struggling with 8gb I max it out using after fx and some other highly ram itemsive program's such as maya
 
You should really think about getting a black PCB graphics card. I remember my first GPU which had a blue PCB and I hated the sight of it ever since I bought it...

Well, if you replace the 2700k with the 3570k you'll save like 40 quid, you could add that to buy a better cooler. If you want watercooling you can also have a look at the closed loops by Intel, Asetek or ThermalTake :)

If you want aircooling I'd suggest the Phanteks (cant remember the type). They're the same design as the NH-D14 with the double tower and fan design, but it comes in several really good looking colours! I think Tom did a video on them (:

I disagree with this,the 2500k is a better bet,clocks better and doesnt have the same trouble shifting heat like the IB chip....

Will the noctua even fit with that RAM?

I would probably stick with the H series Cooler personally,it doesnt stress the mobo and cleans up the inside of the case nicely
 
^Normally, I'd agree but I've had my 3570k for 4 months now and all I can say is that it idles at 28 degrees and goes til about 55 after a few hours of gaming with a Hyper 212 Evo, which comes nowhere near an H100/H100i or NH-D14 :p

I think I will stick with the i7 but I would like the closed loop water cooling thing
