Getting ready for the DX11 Market that is rising. I have about a 2,000$ Budget for parts, technicially 3,000$ but the other 1,000$ I'm leaving for Accessories (Monitors, Headphones, etc) & Case / Case Customization. Here's the list of parts that I'm looking at, suggestions, how I can cut cost and keep a relatively same performance, etc.

Power Supply – CORSAIR Professional Series HX850 - $189.99

Motherboard – GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard- $349.99

Processor – Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz - $309.99

Hard Drive(s) –

OS Drive #1 – Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CW120G3B5 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $239.99

Storage #1 – HITACHI Deskstar 1.5TB 7200 RPM - $64.99

Graphics Card – EVGA DS Super clocked 015-P3-1587-AR GeForce GTX 580 - $499.99

RAM – G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 x2 - $199.98

Total Parts Cost: $1,854.92

Suggestions would be very welcome!

If its for gaming mainly i would change the mobo for asus p67 sabertooth, cpu i5-2500k,gpu msi gtx580 lightning the 1.5gb version, rams corsair dominator 4gb CMP4GX3M2C1600C7.Now you have saved money for a decent heatsink like noctua nh-d14

.And i suggest silverstone raven rv02 windowed, the best aircooling case at the moment.

The case will be water cooled, forgot to add that (Corsair 800D Case). But I'd like to keep within the i7 Series, as I do 3D Modeling and Video Editing among other things that require a large amount of CPU Power. The EVGA 580 I chose has a aftermarket cooler on it already, dual fan instead of a single. I'd prefer to stay with the G.Skill 16GB DDR3 2133MHz due to the good timing and low voltages, along with I do run Virtual Private Server's to test things out and the extra ram is needed to dedicate to those servers.

If your water-cooling wouldn't it be best to use a reference gpu

Hm,

I defiantly want to water-cool the GPU. Due to the fact they can get pretty hot when doing stressing gaming, etc. The CPU & GPU are defiantly water cooled, HD's are fan cooled and RAM will be fan cooled aswell W. RAM Cooler over top. I'll report back on some new choices for graphics cards soon.
