ya dun that i could still logon ok from another computer and have acsess to all the data but on my cyclone mkv network media player it just keeps saying logon faild

can only seem to logon from other computers but not the network media player

but it works ok with win server 2003 and 2008 ok

Yeah that'd be because you can't setup user accounts on a media player.

That's gonna be a pain in the a** if I ever get a media player that doesn't use media center.

ok thanks for the info i will just stike with server 2008 the media player can log on ok with that
