For those that don't know - rivatuner is THE overclocking tool for nvidia cards.
Current release (15.8) does not recognise the 90nm 7600/7900 series cards.
Normally within a week or so a patch comes out (or a new release 15.9 for example) to resolve this issue.
Reason for the delay? Rivatuner is undergoing a complete overhaul - the timing of which was bad for all of us with the above cards as no interim release of the current product was to be released to accomodate new cards.
I have spoken to 'unwinder' (the programmer for the software) and he assures me that it 'might' be ready for end of April but more likely in the first half of May this year.
I tell ya I have been using 2-3 applications to do all the tweaking (but not all the options) that this package does and I look forward to the new release - it's one fo the few pieces of software in this genre (overclocking tools) that I would actually buy.
The poor guy has been hassled constantly since the release of these cards but now we can all see light at the end of the tunnel.
Just thought I's take the opportunity to keep you guys updated with the progress.
