Hi,

Building a rig for my brother for X-plane 10. I have put the requirments below and my proposed spec. If anyone has any comments or ideas please tell me. Also will the PSU have enough connections on?

From x-plane:

For the best experience, we recommend the following system specs:
  • a 3 GHz, multi-core CPU (or, even better, multiple processors),
  • 4 GB of RAM,
  • a DVD-ROM, and
  • a DirectX 10-capable (DX11 preferred) video card with 2 GB of on-board, dedicated VRAM.

Cheers in advance.

I'd drop the CPU cooler for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, the PSU for a 550w or 600w and I'd most certainly drop the InWin case for the Fractal Arc Mini R2 much better cooling and build quality.

Cheers for the reply. I will look into the case/cooling.
More importantly to people who know about x plane will the GPU/CPU combo be able to handle high settings? I could increase by my budget by about another £75
