Hello!

So .... NEW RIG!!!
As an architect i work with autocad, archicad, 3ds max, photoshop, etc for architectural visualizations... but i also would like to be able to play some games.

I live in Greece and my budget is 1.400 - 1.500 €....

After some homework this is what i have in mind:
Corsair Carbide 300R Corsair RM750 750 Watt 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular
CPU Intel Core i7-4790 Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB DDR3-1866MHz Gigabyte GeForce GTX970 4GB WindForce 3X OC Samsung 840 Series Evo 120GB Western Digital Purple 1TB Philips 224E5QDAB Logitech Speaker System Z323 POWERWALKER VI 1000 LCD LINE INTERACTIVE
Questions:
1. Is the psu enough? What if i decide to add another gtx 970?
2. Should i get a higher Mhz memory?
3. Should i trust Philips with the monitor or go with LG, Samsung, other? (it has to be IPS though)
4. I have absolutely NO clue about what UPS specs or brand to choose.... please help!!!
5. Any other recommendation would be highly appreciated....

Thank you in advance!!!

Edit:

If you're going to buy a Z97-board, you might as well throw in 10 extra bucks to buy the overclockable i7 (the 4790k). Other than that it looks good to me :)

1. The PSU should be ample for the 970, even two of them :)

2. 1866MHz memory is fine. If you see some 2133MHz kits for just a few bucks more, get it, but don't pay a lot extra.

3. I think Philips should be fine. I've always had a good experience with LG-screens myself. We have two LG TV's here, and I'm currently using an older LG screen as a dedicated Spotify monitor (after a long time of regular use).

4. Can't help you with UPS brands

5. You've chosen great components mate, no other comments ;)

Dont autocad/3dsmax/all other modeling and production type applications pre-render to the RAM?

If they do, it might be a good idea to buy the fastest ram you can afford... might be a decent increase in performance in that regard

Thank you all for your answers....

You might want to buy a Corsair H80i to cool that i7, patrioti! ;)
And as Average Ninja said get the 4790k

Well i might be on the wrong site :D but i have never overclocked anything and since i am not a hardcore gamer do i need to buy K version (and eventually the cpu cooler patrioti!) for my 3d renderings???

Well to be honest iBeInspire i am not sure but 3ds max sure does some real-time rendering with V-Ray. I 'll try to find out more. Thanks anyway!

Ohhh... and if someone knows anything about UPS feel free to post!!!! :D

Personally I'm not a fan of LG monitors. The panels are quite good actually, but I found that the stands/feet of these plastic monitors are seriously fragile and wobbly.

If you have no intention of OC'ing, pass on the K version, although it is always nice knowing you have it if you want to in the future. Don't bother with a second video card, you won't notice any performance running your software, and Photoshop says in recommendations that they don't recommend SLI as it could cause some issues. If you think you may need more video processing power just get a better card. Although everyone says 16GB of ram is enough I would go to 32GB. I have 16GB and a 120GB SSD scratch drive and I have maxed my ram out in photoshop.

Kbalaz, thanks mate, that was really helpful...
