New ram ordered!

Just ordered up Mushkin XP4000 Redline a few minutes ago from Newegg... I suspect it should be here on Wednesday of next week so I can start testing her out!

From the reviews I read from purchasers of the ram from Newegg they've been able to do 1.5-2-2-5 @ 265mhz 3.4v.... Sounds like where I want to be

Nice choice Frag. Remember to optimise you BIOS before you shove it in. Cold boot below 3v that stuff.

Here it is! The godliest ram evar! If it werent for my proccy holding me back I'd be busting out some pure pwnage with it.

Currently running 245 @ 1.5-2-2-5 1:1 3.2v on the newest Oskar Wu modded UTT bios. Very wicked sick, I could feel the instant performance gain from the ultra tight timings right after I snapped it in place. So far i'm more than pleased with it's performance.

He's already got a decent overclock, 245 at CL1.5!? Nice.. Now go get yet another CPU and try and not let it hold you back I wanna see the RAM go further

He just said it was holding his RAM back, but possibly if he tortures it we'll see it go further

Nope proc is being stubborn right below the 3ghz mark but I'm happy with it as it's about a 175mhz increase over what the last diego was doing for me.

u guys know that UTT just stands for untested right ?

infenion is making both CH5 and BH5 utts right now.

ur best bet for bh5 utt is gskill gh series and geil ultrax 3200 series

for CH5 the best are ocz vx gold series and mushkin redline series .

I actually did know that |3ourne...but I wasn't 100% sure so I didn't say cause I didn't know. But yeah - ya reckon that stuff is BH-5??
