got my new mountain mods case from usa.

got it built and nearly complete.

revision 2 case.

6 uv reactive 120 mm blue fans.

2x vantech stealth 120 mm fans.

2x fan controllers blue.

dvdrw + plextor cdrw.

dfi nf4-dr motherboard

2x 1gb crucial memory.

2x xfx 7800 gtx EE cards.

1 creative x-fi sound card.

2x raptor 74 gig stripped raid 0

300 gig external 16 meg cache hard drive.

pc&p power cooling sli psu

amd 64 dual core cpu 4400+.

tagan 480 watt psu.

dangerden 655 pump

swiftech g storm cpu block.

thermochill 120.3 rad pa new revision.

2 litres green dangerden mc-5 none conductive fluid.

dangerden double water bay res+ tygan half inch tubing latest from phill thx. ;)

got uv red and uv green braiding to put in yet. another big job to do.

molex removing nooooooo.

7 inch wide screen tft to go in drive bay area. its ok got 10 x drive bays to play with.

any how this is my new setup.

been turning the screws a bit to find max stable running speed.

so far @ 1.63 volts both the cores r 100% stable running prime twice.

1 for each core and so far had my 4400+ to 2820 ghz so far will try more volts later.

so going from a fx57 to getting this cpu was a bloody good move.

just to prove this my cpu stock is 2.2 ghz x2.

amd fx57 is 2.8 ghz stock.

so by running 2820 ghz x2 stable is like running 2x fx57 cpu,z + 20 mhz.

now if that isnt value for money what is. sorry 2 all u fx ppl out there no offence. here is a screenie so far of prime running on both cores.

http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/3963/screenhunter0060rd.jpg

hope this shows ppl out there who would like a dual core cpu what they r like.

best move i have done ever full stop. enjoy. ;)

Sounds awesome Daz mate - looking forward to the pics. What does the tagan power? All the fans and stuff?

got the tagan running drive bay fan controllers 2 of em running 8 fans.

keeps my other power supply free to do other more important stuff.

just the braiding to do and tft to put inside drive bay area.

was thinking of putting a 17 inch tft on the side of the case on hinges.

then can use that for other display. will get pics up soon when complete.

thx for the complements ;) what keeps me going.

now just to sell my mach 2 gt r507 in v2000 case.

putting money towords my project to complete.

1 good thing about this case it accepts 2x psu and loads of room to play with.

Sounds Extreme (and expensive)! :D

Look forward to seeing some pics of this...

I assume you just got bored of the V2000 setup?

I'm an fx person and I say it's unfair to compare a stock fx - they're made for overclocking and when running under phase at 3.5Ghz + the x2s can't touch them in games (non-optimised).

Ok rant over. Project looks great in terms of spec and sounds like it's going well. Nice clocks for water on the x2. How are you going to use the mini display? Can't wait for pics.

sorry didnt mean to offend in anyways. but having a fx@ 3.5 ghz this x2 seems bloody fast in windows and in games even running 2x 2820 ghz cant see any diffrence @ all to the fx. but the added bonus can rip a dvd and play games @ the same time. and this cpu only cost me £340.... but saying that cant knock fx @ all did have fun when i had it... ;)

I wouldn't be complaining if I had either; an FX or X2 would do as a nice upgrade to an old Pentium 4 ;)

Do they still make those?

Just messing :D

is your 2 gpu's on eth same loop or u got 2 loops

Phil

@ the moment my cpu is on 1 loop.

when my case is finished my 2x gpu will be on a second loop.

will be using thermochill 120.2 rad pa new revision on cards.

will be getting new dfo expert mobo from usa.

then using dangerden sli nv78 water blocks and dangerden 655 pump.

love this pump very powerfull and good to be able to adjust the speeds. ;)

Careful of thos edfi expert boards mate, there seems to be a lot of problems with them over at XS, with it looking like some circuitry has been cut near the sound

yeah they ask you to put power on teh board and start it up before connecting any hardware.

If it hisses then its trash RMA it and get a new one.

If it dont hiss then its good to go.
