New PC Help

I know about that, however when it goes down in price I will probably get something like a 560 or maybe a 460 to use as a Physix dedicated card.

The thing is from what I've heard the 570 is maxed out at 1900x1200 even in SLI so I though getting a 580 would be more future proof, despite having to upgrade the PSU to get a SLI upgrade.

Good thinking dude. A 580 is the right choice for that resolution, where in some games the 570 might have struggled.

Yup, the 580 is a great choice. It's pretty much the best out there for single GPU solutions as the F-22 is the king of the skies. I wish I had one right now.

The OCZ 700W you've chosen is sufficient for your system. If you're not going to be doing much OC-ing, then it should be fine actually.

I bought a bundle from aria pre-clocked at 4.6gh/z

You think that will be ok?.

TBH I'm quite lucky I know that guy otherwise it would of been a 570

I'm assuming this follows the similar build from your 1st part of the post? If it's close to the same hardware, it's definitely good enough even for the GTX 580 as long as you're not going to be OC-ing the card too much.

You can use a WATT Monitor to check how much power you System is drawing and you will have an idea of how much head room you have left for potential overclocks

Yup, so will I. Looks like a handy tool to have around.

As much as I will be itching to play around in the bios - I wont be doing that.

So I could bring it in on budget i got the bundle. However that bundle comes with a very handy 2 year warentee and from the fact I won't need to go over 4.6gh/z (lets be honest here) although the 5gh/z club is very appealing, I wont be doing so without a Noctua NH-D14. I'll be saving up for stuff like a new display for it (so I can have the 32"tv seperately) and a shiny keyboards and mouse.

Thinking about the G19, it looks really nice, changes colour and I have the possibility for 60% off! Any suggestions for other keyboards. I would like something that changes colour and preferably has keys that stick out like a traditional keyboard (I hate the really thin laptop ones, they feel cheap). I really don't mind if its not the greatest gaming keyboard just one thats good and looks cool

As for mouse, I know I'm going to be playing the hell out of RPGs (SKYRIM) and some shooters like BF3. I doubt I'll play MMORPGS alot (unless I fall in love with GW2(nvr rlly played MMOs)) I really have no clue what to pick with in mice tbh.

Cheers guys

Which cooler have you opted to go for in your preconfigured build? 32" LCD, that's really cool. The G19 looks and performs great. If you can get a 60% off on the G19, that would be a best buy. Zippy has a changeable LED backlighting keyboard, but I don't recall it being a gaming type though. For RPGs and FPS games, you may not need as many buttons. Personally I use the Steelseries Kinzu and that has fared really well for me with pretty much everything. The Xai and Sensei are fantastic as well. You can program them the way you want them to be for different games from setting different profiles.

One thing I wondered about is whether the LCD on the G19 is worth it.

The cooler is the Be Quiet! Dark Rock. I would have gone for the NH-D14 but when the bundle was pre-overclocked, 8gb of muskin blackline, a ASUS P8Z68-V Intel Z68 (REV B3) board and the cooler for under 400 quid.

Will Intel HD3000 intergrated graphics be enough for Physix dedicated?

I was thinking about a Razer for a mouse but most of them seem to be covered in programable Macro buttons - which I don't need
