Hi All

I am thinking about constructing a PC, i have only got my case at the moment. It is a WHITE NZXT PHANTOM. I would like some help on what else i should get. My budget for everything is about £600-£700.

PSU - I was thinking about the NZXT HALE90850M Hale90 850W Modular Power Supply?, it has good ratings and matches the colour white of my case.

Motherboard - Asus P7P55D-E Deluxe? has USB3.0 and Sata 6Gb.

Processor - Intel Core i5-760?

What do you think so far? Any Suggestions?

I still need the CPU fan, RAM, Graphics card, Optical drive, hard drive and anything else i have forgotton. Also i have already brought 3 extra fans for my case, so the air flow should be exellent.

Please any info or tips would be great.

Kind Regards

Dan

Boards should arrive in april if you are willing to wait, or get one now and replace then(possibly use only sata3)..

ok then i will wait, but what about the rest of the componets? Should i start to buy them now or should i buy them all together?

Generally the price trend is downwards, so in almost all cases I'd say wait and buy everything together, but in the case of Sandy Bridge once you've FINALIZED your shopping list you might look for deals in the months coming up to the re-release. This is because while everyone waits for SB to be fixed, sales might be a little flat and the manufacturers of other components still need income, so there might be interesting sales/rebates.

For example, 2 X 4GB RAM prices might actually spike up when the new motherboards arrive.
