New Monitor Recommendations

Morning Guys,

So my old 1080p monitor decided to take a dump on me yesterday, I had no display, powers on, nothing even tested it into onboard HDMI same deal.
So for temp, using my TV screen which has HDMI.

So I'm looking for a new monitor - but I'm not sure what options there are, weather to stay 1080p or go 2k?

1440p for sure, will never look back at 1080p.

It's like going from 60Hz to 120/144Hz.

Should be pretty good, whilst not everything that MSI makes is brilliant they do tend to make pretty decent monitors and it's a good step up for you being high refresh 1440p!
