New MoBo

If you are going to overclock that motherboard it´s not very stable to that end!

Take a look at this one!

No... but in my opinion, if you look more attentively, you can verify that has insufficient power supply for the processor and not enough power regulators ... etc!

P.s.- I´m talking about the gigabyte mobo, the MSI it seems to me more stable based by the components!

I've already read those reviews . I was mosty looking for a users opinion on this

Ah, right. Well, from what I've heard Asrock is a pretty decent brand that's continuing to grow. User opinions on this specific board might be hard to find considering it's just been released..

I'm thinking to have my pc upgraded with the following:

i5-2500K

Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3

16GB-4x-Kit Corsair PC1333 CL9 Dominator

I also have a 450gts gpu.

overclocking? you might consider a PC1600 and 8GB is enough, no overclock, then 16 will be fine for vid edit.

mm probably no bottleneck, depending on usage of system. vid editing you need to be on a 256/320 bit card.

I have changed my plans and I'm ready to order the following :

i5-2500k

Asrock z77 extreme 4

16gb kit corsair vengeance DDR3 1600 CL9

Corsair hydro series H100

this is gonna be used for gaming and chess engines mostly, no video editing
