see sig for specs

now getting 4234 PPD on HD5850

and

getting 24348 PPD on dual 8800GT's in lucid

also SMP (4) has jumped to 1836.9 (without bigadv)

But how are you getting 4234 PPD with a 5850 I only get 3000 with my 6850, also I only get 13,000 with my 2500K @ 4.3ghz.

@SnW can I use your "join us" sig as well mate?

What WU (project) was that on ?

4core SMP is in my opinion to low of a PPD but its my opinion

On my i7 860 at 4200Mhz i also only get (single SMP) 13xxx PPD depending on what WU (Project)...

I can't remember what project it was I downloaded the new GPU traker V3.52 and deleted all my logs along with the old version.

The one I am on now "6701" I am only getting 9,000 dropping to 8,000 sometimes.

I just did a bit of Google fu and a lot of people are getting lo PPD wit 2500k's and AMD cards they use 25% of the CPU so basically i'm running a triple core when using GPU as well.

Time to save for a 560 ti I want to switch to Nvidia anyway. Thanks for the replies anyway guys

my Sapphire HD5850 Vapor X is overclocked to the point of almost melting with 1000/1200 using 1.3 volts, and also becuase the GPU does use a little CPU (2cores) when folding i am getting the advantage of the nice OC of my new mobo. hence the reason why i have to SMP4 when folding with both.

GPU temps are 71-74C

and

SMP4 temps are 43-45C
 
Been looking through my stats and the 6701 has been my most popular WU. My avarage PPD on one of those is 9,400.

A 6071 on the other hand im getting 13,200. Only had two of those and 10 of the slow ones.

Ahh, my 6850 is @ stock I though it was weired that you were getting higher PPD with a 5850.
 
lol - i had major probelms with BSOD with my high OC, then (doh!

) i realised that i hadn't set my vantage to extreme ( i felt like a right muppet )

6701 and 6071 are completely different WU's.

The 6701/2 WU's are generally a 30%+ loss in PPD from the normal SMP WU's. There are a few others that are a little doggy, but not like the 6701/2.
