New mobo/CPU with only a 400 watt Antec?

So I have SP400 (a 400 watt Antec), with combined 25A on 12V.

And a HD3850 graphics card in it and two HDDs.

I'm running a Am64 3200+ S939 (neo4-f mobo), 1024 ram DDR400, right now, but really should get an upgrade.

But can I do that without buying a new PSU?

I assume the AMD x2 are the least power hungry ones....

I don't need the newest stuff, just something that is a lot faster than I have now so I can run games better.

I'm running an e1200 dual core @ 2.8GHz on a 280W PSU, oops

oh and thats with 2x hdds, 7600gt, 2gb ram etc, hastn missed a beat.. yet haha

Well, great :P

So, I guess the question should be:

With a hd3850, what's the best budget (price range 150-250€ including 2 gigs ram) mobo/cpu? Don't need integrated graphics or any other features, but should have integrated audio and preferably quite silent fans.

I'm not buying any new parts for 2-3 years after this. So upgradeability doesn't matter AT ALL.

Looking at a AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (Socket AM2). Good idea?

But I don't know much about mobo types...

Somebody said M2A-MX... but my full size hd3850 will fit that one? Also, doesn't seem to have SATA2... not sure if sata2 even makes a difference.
