Hey i need some advice for my system.

What would YOU recommend:

Pump:

Res:

Rad:

Gpu-block:

Cpu-Block:

Chipset-Block:

My specs are:

Cooler Master HAF 932

Asus Lga775 (P35)

Q6600 @3.6 on air with 40c temp.

XfX 9800Gx2 BLack Edition

My primary cooling would be GPU coze it is getting VERRY hot... and what i want is to make it quiet as possible... what would you suggest?

Thx for help.

I am a big fan of the XSPC gear.

I have been using an XSPC CPU block, two XSPC GPU blocks along with rads and a laing DDC pump with XSPC top.

I have some gear unused from a project that never took off if you are interested.

Swiftech ae very good for chipset and cpu blocks.

Xspc are very good for gpu blocks and good for cpu blocks.

Thermochill are VERY GOOD for radiators

Swiftech (branded laing only get in kits) & normal laing pumps are good.

Resivour is up to you, but xspc have a nice range of 5 1/2" drive bay res's.

For your setup, i think:

ThermoChill PA120.3 Radiator

XSPC Delta V3 CPU Waterblock

XSPC Delta Chipset Block

Isnt the black edition non reference cooler? Its hard to get blocks new for GX2 now, try used if not this is all i could find  Aqua-Computers 9800GX2 Copper Block

12V Laing DDC-1T Pro 10W < Mod to 18w if you can.

Now the fans barbs are tubing are up to you :) Its mainly the rad block and pump you want to worry about.

Do you have a budget at all? Everything reccomended is good so far, but some stuff (such as the triple Thermochill rad) are very expensive. All thats coming in at around £250.

Personally, if price isnt an issue, I would go for EK blocks for your chipset, and either a Heatkiller 3.0 or Swiftech GTZ for your CPU. They're both top of the line, pretty much the 2 best CPU blocks out there :)

I begining to wonder if not to save the money and buy myself an GTX285 instead ....

But my Gx2 is capble of almost same resoults. The Water cooling block for Gx2 is £100 alone... :(

Just dont watercool the card. Not much point unless your overclocking, try another air cooler, an aftermarket one.

There are none aftermarket coolers for 9800Gx2 ... or at least i cant find any... I am thinking of buying GTX285 or 4870x2 and making it water cooled some day... i just dont know whích one to choose.

In the OLD hardware tests my 9800gx2 is just as good as 4780x2 and this is my problem... if there is any need to upgrade it. i am tottaly torned appart between buying new graphic card or water cooling my 9800gx2... i have to use arround £200 anyway...

and ... Do i really need 3x120 rad ?

i think a pa120.2 will do but the 120.3 give you more head room to add more things to the loop without changing your rad later on.
