New Laptop

Hi guys. Now im not really a laptop kind of guy but im going uni (hopefully) in the next few weeks and im looking to buy a laptop for while im there.

Ive been looking as MSI laptops, because i'd like to use it for gamins as well as work, but im having trouble deciding.

I've also been looking at a few others. By budget is £500, i was hoping to buy a laptop, Bag and an SSD. But to sacrifice the SSD for a better laptop is an option. Please let me know what you would go for.

What games are you planning to play?, also if it was me and i only had £500 to spend i wouldn't bother with the ssd

My sisters just got an Acer 5750G from Tesco, I had a couple hundred pounds worth of vouchers though, RAM might be a bit tight on that, but yeah, i5-2410m is a v. good processor, and the 540m will handle most games. 2.6kg makes it fairly heavy, but it's quite nice.

Turned out that HP was speced wrong on their website. Was a pile of shit. Ordered a really good i5 inspiron from the Dell Outlet

. Really decent everything TBH. Too bad its dell branded but im willing to give it a try.

Unless you've already ordered it I'd wait till you are certain you have a uni place before you invest into a laptop for it

I've been told i have a place, its just not in writing yet... but i know what you mean. Couldnt miss the chance to have that laptop though. Almost half price at £430 lol.
