I bought an ASUS M4A78T-E Mother board with a phenom II quad core @3ghz with a samsung 7200rpm 1TB HD and 8 gig CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600. All this and an evga nvidia gtx260. Well I have an issue because this is a crossfire board and not sli. Can it still do sli? Do you guys foresee any other issues with this setup? I am using windows 7 7100 BTW(the legit pre release). Everything seems to work fine, I am just worried because I would like to buy another gtx260...

Thanks guys, just want to optimize it.

you would have too buy a SLI motherboard my friend as the M4A78 only supports crossfire

That asus MB up there doesnt have ddr3 support though. I dont know much about computers(just a+ certified) but I read around here that ddr3 doesnt help that much with graphics anyways. Unfortunately this computer wont be used for only games, I do alot of media editing (primarily music recording). I would think the ddr3 helps some there.

If I build another one, which I will soon since I need two anyways, will it be best to use an ati card instead? Whats considered comparable in the ATi world?
