New Etasis or 2nd hand Silverstone

Hi,

I have the opportunity to buy a new Etasis et750 for £65 delivered. Or I could save 10 or 20 and get a second hand silverstone zeus 750w.

What would you do?

They are both the same psu, but different sleevings. Silverstone all black. Etasis black, with blue pci-x and braided sata and molex.

Start the Banter. :D :D :D

I'm not sure if they changed it, but when I looked at the Etasis 750/850w it had a silver casing. Not sure if that affects ur decision?

Regardless I'd go for a new unit and get the full warranty.

Yes, forgot to mention that, the colour doesn't bother me.

The etasis also has the fan in the centre of the back panel rather than offset on the silverstone. It looks like the etasis would have better cooling as the fan is directly beside all four heat sinks.

Just lost a snipe on an Ebay auction for a 750w silverstone. It went for a massive £58.28 incl del.

Looks like the Etasis is the one to go for. At under a tenner more for the brand new unit, can't go wrong really. :D

Anyone have any views on the placement of the fan at the rear/front which ever way you look at it??

i'd go with a psu with 120mm fan..

That is a good idea but The silverstone/Etasis psu's have a nice 80mm Sanyo Denki fan which are managed well with the temperature monitoring. They will be a bit noisier but thats all.

What would you suggest?
