Just fitted new drive today, its a "OCZ 60GB Vertex 2E SSD" , this was to replace a "Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB ". Just ran the very basic of tests windows experience index, and the scores went from 5.9 on the raptor to 7.1 on the OCZ.
On startup i also noticed that most of the startup progs were already running when desktop appeared, eg. avg, audio control, logitech setpoint. very early to judge but first impressions are that its money well spent.Only down side though, is that bought the OCZ Technology SSD Adaptor Bracket 2 for 3.5" Dock Bays for 2.5" & 3.5" SSD's, it DONT WORK with my Lian Li PC-B71B's Hot Swap Bays. So had to do a little "jiggery pokery" to make the OCZ fit in the Hot Swap Bays
