new desk needed

Hi folks, just wanted an opinion or two, as im looking to invest in a new PC desk soon, ive a budget of around 150-200 to play around with, and was going to consider a corner unit (corner being the mid section only, with two long desks coming off it) along the lines of this kind of design:


will also be going black on the desk, dont mind if its a plain matte black finish or a gloss either, as long as its black!!! if you can recommend one within that budget (UK only, not shipping from the US) that is good enough, i may even consider painting it myself if it looks good, but if its already finished in black, that would be best!

You should build it yourself, that way you can make it fit any wall and have it at a height that suits you.

Yeah, a custom would be good. Then you can say "Yeah I did that" every time you walk into the room.

I would except i couldn't nail together 2 short planks, I am literally that bad at handcrafting something, ill put it into perspective for you all, my art teacher in school actually told me to not come back, there was no point to me attending as I was that bad at drawing and painting! So it leaves me the idiotproof option!

Get that one, its looks good and even better in black I imagine. Honestly, your desk will become pretty invisible once you get everything setup on it like you want. I'm not handy either, my desk is a black $30 folding table from WalMart.

Pick one from ikea they are cheap and look okay. Just get some legs to go with a table top, you can make it how you want it

I'd go with this too. I have the first one in birch and for the price you can't beat it imo.
