New Counter-Strike arriving with added zombies!

The creators of the CSO version of the ever popular Counter-Strike first person shooter (FPS), Nexon, has today announced that they'll be soon releasing their latest - with added zombies - Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies.

Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies will be a free to play game when it reaches the Steam platform at the end of summer/ start of autumn and will be available throughout Europe, North America Oceania and the CIS region.
The title will also support native languages including English, German, French, Italian, Polish, and Russian.


Its creators explain a little more in todays press release :

The CS world is about to be infected with the introduction of the ultimate game-changer: zombies. Fast-paced, frenetic action awaits, as a wide variety of new weapons are added to the fray, with diverse game modes available, featuring countless undead. The zombies in the game are quick, aggressive, and dangerous, which makes for a completely new experience.

In addition to the new zombie based experience, players can also have the original Counter-Strike experience, through modes like Hostage Rescue and Bomb Diffusion, which makes strategic intelligence more important than ever.

I agree naming and stuff is a little odd. But a zombie game on the Source engine? Don't mind if I do. Would be a nice game to mod the shit out of.

You can always go spend £50 on BF Hardline and play that instead :lol:

Yeah, my bad about the 'creators' bit. They did do CSO though... for better or worse.

Still, hoping for the best for this one. Least it'll be free - no doubt with micropayments as that seems to be Nexon's way.

It will be one more f2p garbage zombie game, the whole genre is so overdone it's time to move on.

Or you could just stick to good games which last longer than 6 months. Nobody forces you to play either one. When i have to choose between a terrible game and slightly less terrible game i'd rather choose none of them and play something good, doesn't matter if it doesn't have the most up to date graphics or the most innovative concept as long as the execution is good.

Never heard of them myself, i'll give this game a go. If it is crap I just wont play it. It is F2P so there isn't anything to get burned over, just an hour or two of your time.

The company behind 10/10 games such as combat arms, warrock or maple story. Proper f2p trash.
There was a bit of hype for Dirty Bomb, but imo that game isn't all that great either. P2w 2.0.
