New Case

I have,

MCP350 (will be adding the plexi top when i get more connectors)

Alphacool XP light cpu block

Alphacool NVXP vga block

Aplphacool extremeII radiator

Awesome mate, got pix of the lil parts pile for us? When ya gonna start installing? Do you have your tubing, connectors, and clamps as well? What fluid ya gonna run in it anywho?

yea ill post all the pic up at once. got everything ready to go in i just need some more jubilee clips, the massive bag i bought turned out to be a tiny bit too big :(

Nice1, I`ll keep a keen eye on how you get on, if it`s your first, as I`ve not fitted that gear before either.

Best of luck - !>?££33""8*&&& @ the size of the clips >.<

Remember this cheapo case? well i thought i might put up some pics of it at the moment before i crack on with the next case.

Theres a few things not finished, like where the fan cables enter the case, that will be paneled over and the switch for 5v-0v-12v thats currently hidden inside the case will be mounted there. Ive taken the X2 sticker that was on the front off and i'll probably make some sort of badge to go in it.

Also i have added some quick sketches of the case i am building, they look crap on account of the pad being on a very un-even surface (my bedroom floor - farmhouses suck) and the fact that i spilt my coffee over half of it earlier :o

Not too bad is it, a little scraggy round the edges like but I'm moving onto the next one as soon as i can find a damn sheet-metal supplier at a decent price (any suggestions very welcome) so im not too bothered lol. The front of the illustrated case will be black acrylic with stainless steel buttons and the screen you can see in the 1st case

The metal-doods I`ve seen on the web seem to be hiding behind their websites as I`ve not heard back from them.

But I am told South Wales is riddled with metal vendors... where ?

Love the rig. Would definately consider a <£5 black floppy and probably a bit of seal or black tape on the inside around the display. Like to know how u`r display works, or works out/operates, btw. (or how programable it is I guess)

Are you putting new gear in the new rig concept ?

On the many many industrial sites i guess :/ hard to track though. Yea funnily enough i am trying to find something to seal the screen in this very minute. and youre in luck, im just finishing off the review of it this evening. Umm, new case may get treated to a new motherboard, memory and maybe HDD but thats about it
