New case

Moving from my original topic, I'm still in need of a case.

Have you guys got 1 you're selling at all? I'll post later on in for sale and wanted. If you have one mention it here, with pics if possible please.

I've been looking at the HAF and all the ones that are 'popular' but to me they seem gimicky and look too plasticy.

What cases do people recommend?

Requirements:

Full tower

PSU @ bottom

Enough room for airflow with 2x560 Ti & a D14.

I'm wanting a nice looking case which has an open side or even top? (perspex window).

Looking to spend a max of £120.

I have the obsidian 650d. It is an excellent case. I currently have a massive 580 in there and there is room for more if I choose to go down that path. The PSU mounts at the bottom.

The case itself is made out of steel and aluminium and feels very sturdy. The aluminium is brushed so its very shiny. It is going for £124 on overclockers without P&P so it's slightly over what you want to spend.

Wow, that is one very nice case mate. I am definately soo tempted by that. I can stretch the extra £15 incl postage and stuff. Looks very nice and clean, just what I wanted, plus open side and top. Any chance of you taking some pics of your rig for me?

corsair 600t the 650d but better for air cooling according to ttl and it can be had for £115 and if you look out for one on ebay you can get one for about £80

Thank you for the suggestions ruthless. I however am not too keen on the 600t, mainly because of the top section

. Plus the shape reminds me of my first good PC, AMD ATHLON 1700+'s case. I can see why people like it, but it's not my taste. Somthing along the lines of a LianLi perhaps the PC-G75B.

Just looks soo clean. All I would want now is it in white...

yeah i know what you mean about the clean look its a nice case i have one sitting right next to me lol painted black and red must say it looks awesome and its pretty roomy as well i just dont have any hardware in it right now lol

I'll take some photos when I get home today. I don't have a digital camera though, so the pictures won't look that good. I will have to take the photos with my Galaxy S2.

I was gonna suggest the Fractal Define XL, but then I went back and looked at OP. And you said you wanted window, but that is why God invented dremels and jigsaws.

This is the best I could do with the Galaxy S2. Will create a topic in the Rig Gallery when I get a better camera.

You can see in the image below the dust filter is doing it's job very well. I clean the filter every two weeks and it is due a clean on the weekend.

No worries mate. I'm certain they don't do them in white. They would look awesome in white. I would have snatched a white one if there was one
