Why would you need a server sized case?

More space = More air to push around

I am amazed at how many people still build computers into massive cases. I guess it's a personal thing but I had a full tower back when I was overclocking my athlon slot1 etc and the extra space didn't help my temps at all. The only thing it achieved was making more noise with all the fans I needed to get any sort of airflow.

The best watercooling systems I've seen are even in small/medium cases where the space is used well.

Extra room to position stuff. More options i guess.. i love my case.. its the perfect size for my needs..

more space = takes longer to get to the same temp but will inevitably reach it

I will always perfer bigger cases.. Just for the space.

And for hiding those cables. You know?
